This is a HowTo for setting up GSAK to generate stats and publish them automatically to your profile at geocaching.com. Please be aware that this setup will delete all other information than the stats on your profile page.

General hints for installing macros

• When downloading macros your browser should give you the option to open the macros with GSAK. If it doesn’t, save them in one place and call them from GSAK later. If you need help with this, let me know.

• Either way, installing the macro is easy. Just select “Install the macro” and hit “Go”.

Installing macros for generating stats

1. Presumption: GSAK is installed. If not download and install it from here.
2. Download and install the macro FindStatsGen3.gsk from here. Always go to the last post at the last page of the thread and download the latest version. As of writing this HowTo the current version is V3.5.15.
3. Download and install the macro GenUploadStats.gsk from here. Always go to the last post at the last page of the thread and download the latest version. As of writing this HowTo the current version is V1.51.
4. Download and install the macro AddLogs.gsk from here. Always go to the last post at the last page of the thread and download the latest version. As of writing this HowTo the current version is V2.14.
5. Create a database for your statistics only. Store only your finds and hides only in this database, but no other caches.
   1. Hit Database-> New.
   2. Give it a name.
   3. Hit “Create”

Adding buttons for easy calling the macros

(Do this for AddLogs.gsk and GenUploadStats.gsk separately)

1. Hit Macro->Button Configuration
2. From the window opening choose a button.
3. Enter a Text for this button in “Button Text” (like “Stats”)
4. Add a “Button Description and Hint”
5. Choose a “Macro File Name” (you need to know where GSAK stored the file).
6. Hit “Save”.
