Captain’s Log — Stardate: 20090506

Added this one to this ships itinerary as command has been waiting for this installation to become active once more.

Consisting of Lt. Sompinky, Lt. Moon’s Eye, Crewman AbBooBoo and myself, the away team beamed down to begin our search in the middle of a rain storm.

Armed with her tricorder, Sompinky was able to triangular the suspected location of the artifact using both coordinates and information accessed via data padd in our possession.

Crewman AbBooBoo performed diversionary tactics under the watchful eye of Moon’s Eye.

After realizing she had beamed down without the instrument necessary for logging our find, she returned to the ship long enough to retrieve the instrument as well as a dragon hatchling which we left with the artifact.

Respectfully,

Capt. Malcolm Hunter
Acting Commanding Officer
U.S.S. Sam Houston
Pathfinder Explorer Squadron

Captain’s Log — Stardate: 20090506

Both captain and some of the crew from the U.S.S. Pathfinder were temporarily transferred over to the U.S.S. Sam Houston while our own ship is in dry-dock for repairs.

It was an honor to visit the location that marks the birthplace of the man for whom our Miranda-class frigate was named.

It should also be noted that the United States Navy once had a nuclear submarine that was also named after the legendary statesman.
