Bridge Over The James
While on our way to Smith Mountain Lake to spend the day with family there, we made a quick stop at Buchanan to find a cache hidden out in the middle of a swinging bridge over the James River.
The stop could not have been better timed as little Abi was growing a bit restless and she could not get out of her carseat fast enough.
Running back and forth across the bridge was a perfect way for her to burn off some of her energy before being put back in the mini van for the rest of our journey.
The cache was well placed and a very pleasant find, but what made the visit even better was the river otter swimming down below who was extremely curious in what we were up to.
