Time Out To Play (and Nap!)
Yesterday morning, I watched the outside temperature rather closely.
When it reached a respectable level, I sat Abi on the bench and put her shoes on.
Abi never really fights having her shoes and jacket put on as she has come to learn it means she is about to get out of the house and do something.
On our way to the park, Abi was content and allowed me the chance to stop off at a couple of spots along the way and retrieve photos for a couple of Waymarks.
But even so, I made sure not to keep her waiting all that long.
When we arrived at the tot lot at Gypsy Hill Park, Abi smiled from ear to ear after I set her little feet down on the gravel.
The only time she stopped was when I had her in the swing.
As for that swing, she enjoyed it so much that at times, she would pump and kick her legs in her excitement.
The stationary train was another favorite as she took turns between moving the pebbles around and within to turning the steering wheel.
By the time we left, she her head was already nodding to the point the she quickly drifted off to sleep.
