“A Knight’s Errand in Germany”

This afternoon, I received a few new geocoins in the mail.
Among these was an extra antique gold Teutonic Knights geocoin … but what mission to give it?
Wanting to honor a dear friend of mine who got me hooked on geocaching, I decided to send this one to him.
What better way to honor him and the sport he introduced me to than to send this coin in his direction by letting it move from cache to cache until the destination is reached!
The Teutonic Knight Geocoin was originally created in honour of the German order of knights. On the frontside you can see a knight of this order in a battle.
The backside shows is the replica of the seal of the Teutonic Knights. The Teutonic Knights stand for timeless knightly virtues like solidarity, help for poor people and charity.
Kevin goes by “AltGofur” in the geocaching world.
And not only is he German, but he walks through this world embracing virtues that would make any knight proud.
